Created for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), “People of Beira” highlights how the organisation provides health services aimed at vulnerable and stigmatized people including sex workers, men who have sex with men, and at-risk youth in the the city of Beira, Mozambique. Through community clinics and peer support workers, MSF offers HIV testing, counselling, and contraception services, as well as prevention activities and health education.

One of the main goals of the project, is to empower female sex workers to have more autonomy on how to protect themselves from some diseases and to know how to connect with health centres.
